FRUITLAND, Mo. -- Tuesday's Fruitland Livestock Auction results: Cattle receipts: 726. Last week: 757. Compared to last week 300-600 lbs heifers sold 3.00 higher, the rest of the offering sold 2.00-4.00 lower. Slaughter cows sold 1.00 higher and bulls sold 1.00 lower; supply moderate and demand light and weakened toward the end of the sale. The overall quality of the offering was less than past sales. Cows made up approximately 20 percent of the run, 80 percent feeders. Steers made up approximately 60 percent of the offering, 40 percent heifers. Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 39 percent.

PATTON, Mo. -- Monday's Patton Livestock Auction results: Cattle receipts 604. Compared to a week ago: 852. Compared to last week steers and heifers sold steady to 2.00 higher. Slaughter cows sold 1.00 lower and bulls sold 1.00 higher; demand moderate and supply light. Cows and bulls made up approximately 8 percent of the run, 92 percent feeders. Steers made up approximately 44 percent of the offering, 56 percent heifers. Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 17 percent.

FEEDER STEERS: Medium and Large 1, 300-350 lbs, 110.00-112.00; 400-450 lbs 103.00-106.00; 500-550 lbs 97.00-103.00.
