A preliminary pageant for U.S.A.'s Little Miss Missouri Pageant will be held in Cape Girardeau March 29 at the Holiday Inn Convention Center.
The pageant is for girls up to 15 years old and boys up to 10 years old. There will be winners in 10 age divisions.
Winners of the local pageant will advance to the state finals to be held in June. Contestants will be judged on modeling, photogenic ability and an optional talent competition. Modeling abilities include overall appearance, performance and personality projection.
The prize package for finalists in the Little Miss Missouri Pageant is valued at more than $10,000. National finals are in Wichita, Kan. in August.
