The Missouri Division of Liquor Control has announced the suspension of liquor licenses at four area businesses.
The suspensions take effect Monday at these businesses:
Hitchin Post, 351 Christine, licensee, So Sim Williams; suspended four days for employing a disqualified person and failure to report employment of a disqualified person.
Imo's Pizza, 1201 Broadway, licensee, SEMO Pizza Inc.; suspended two days for failure to timely file an application for renewal of license.
Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7750, Highway C, Advance; suspended two days for failure to timely file application for renewal of license.
Bobo's, 27 N. Main, Perryville, licensee, Timothy J. Stark; suspended 20 days for improper acts (two counts) and failure to report an illegal or violent act.
In addition to the suspensions, the division announced that a six-day suspension against Checker's Pizza in Scott City is stayed pending an appeal. The business, at 1110 Main, is accused of improper acts and failure to report an illegal or violent act.
