New titles in the main Jackson facility of the Riverside Regional Library include (adult) Redwall, by Brian Jacques; The Great War: Walk in Hell, by Harry Turtledove,
Young adult and children's titles include Sally Ann, Thunder Ann, and Whirlwind Crockett, by Steven Kellogg; Journey's End, by Anita Gareri; and Wedding Days, by Anita Gaveri.

Copies of Story Time, Toddler Time, Kids on Saturday and After School Adventure are available at the library as is the monthly "Currents" publication.
The library will close for New Year's at noon Friday. It will also be closed Saturday.
This fall the "Redwall" series by master story teller Brian Jacques will be added at all RRL branches. The tales center around Redwall Abbey and the gentle-natured but heroic woodland mice, badgers, moles and otters, who often have to defend their homes against cunning, self-serving and sometimes evil creatures of the forest -- foxes, weasels, rats and ferrets.
