Lexington Avenue undergoing repairs again
Road work is happening this week on Lexington Avenue between Perryville Road and Randol Avenue in Cape Girardeau, although no lanes will be closed to traffic. For the second time in as many months, crews are repairing damage to Lexington caused by hot weather. The latest project will be funded by the Transportation Trust Fund approved by voters in 2010, the city said. Work is expected to take one to two weeks, weather permitting.
