LEUKEMIA SOCIETY PLANS SASTURDAY WALK-A-THON
The Leukemia Society's walk-a-thon will be held Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon at the Cape Girardeau County Park North at Shelter #8. The walk-a-thon is expected to generate public awareness as well as raising the needed dollars to fund research and patient-aid programs for those inflicted with leukemia.

A picnic will be held following the walk-a-thon with food being donated by Willie's Bakery, Town and Country Grocery Store, Wal-Mart, Schnucks and Coca Cola.
Sponsor forms may be obtained at the County Park, Ross Furniture or the Cape County Extension Office in Jackson. For further information call 335-4146 or 243-5570.
