Leopold High School's Christmas party on Dec. 22, the last day of the semester, was a huge event with lots of tournaments.
After students completed their finals, the party kicked off with a volleyball tournament. Each high school class formed a team, and the teams played against each other.
Also included in the tournament was the Leopold High School staff, who played a close game against the seniors. The sophomore class ended up winning the tournament.
Next came the basketball tournament. Groups of three players from grades 7 through 12 signed up with their team names. The winners of the basketball tournament was the team, "Josh's Team," which included Josh Horrell, Piper Lincoln and Preston Campbell.
The cornhole games were played in teams of two. The winner of the cornhole tournament was the team, "Mith," which included Wyatt Vandeven and Noland Beussink.
Ping pong was another heated competition. Many watched as junior Ava Jansen became ping pong champion.
After the Christmas party, students returned to their sponsors' classrooms to visit, eat snacks and exchange gifts.
