"The Roaring 20s" is the theme of the Missouri Association of Legal Secretaries fall board meeting to be held at Drury Lodge Sept. 16-17.

The meeting, which will feature seminars, a get-acquainted party and education speaker, will be hosted by the Cape Girardeau County Legal Secretaries Association. Glendella May and Cheryl Amos are chairmen of the meeting.

The Cape Girardeau chapter's next meeting will be Thursday at the law offices of Limbaugh, Russell, Payne and Howard in Cape Girardeau, with president Glendella May as hostess. The meeting will be at 5:30 p.m. with a brown-bag supper with a business meeting at 6 p.m. Final preparations for the state board meeting will be discussed.

The August meeting of the local group was held at the public defender's office in Jackson, with Patricia Schreiner as hostess. David Beasley, an Edward D. Jones and Co. investment representative, was guest speaker.
