Joliette Barnum of Cape Girardeau has been awarded a Rousseve scholarship for 2004-2005 to Xavier University in New Orleans. Barnum is a sophomore at Xavier.
DeLine goes to Boston youth leadership forum
Mary Grace DeLine of Cape Girardeau is participating in the National Youth Leadership Forum on Medicine this week in Boston. DeLine is one of 350 high school students chosen for the forum through academic excellence, leadership skills and an interest in medical careers. She is a senior at Central High School and is the daughter of Smith and Mary Ann DeLine. NYLF is a not-for-profit education organization that provides career information to young people.
Cape student receives leadership award
Calandra Jones-Jackson of Cape Girardeau has received a Missouri Leadership Award to attend Southeast Missouri State University for the 2004-2005 academic year. She is a 2004 graduate of Cape Girardeau Central High School. She is the daughter of Virgie Jackson of Cape Girardeau.
Delta graduate receives Masonic scholarship
Derek Reiminger has been selected as the 2004 recipient of the Maud and Norvel Hosea scholarship from the Whitewater Eastern Star and Masonic Lodge. Reiminger is a 2004 graduate of Delta High School.
Sitze earns technology degree in radiology
Ashley Sitze recently received a medical technology degree in radiology from Mineral Area College. She is the daughter of Mitch and Marsha Eaker of Marble Hill, Mo. At MAC, Sitze was a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.
Jackson student named in Who's Who
Melanie Lutes of Jackson has been selected for Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges for leadership. Lutes is a student at Southeast Missouri State University.
Domian makes Miami University dean's list
Kathleen Domian, a graduate of Jackson High School, was named to the spring 2004 semester dean's list at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
