  • Katie Wolz of Cape Girardeau, a student at Drury University in Springfield, Mo., received the Outstanding Freshman in Chemistry Award at the annual awards convocation.

* Anna Fluegge of Whitewater, Mo., was honored by Drury University in Springfield, Mo., for her initiation into Tau Sigma Delta, a national honor society for architecture.

  • Lindsey Jateff of Cape Girardeau and John Hoffstetter of Gordonville have been named to the dean's list at the University of Missouri-Rolla.

* Nathan Bragg of Cape Girardeau has been named to the dean's list at Boston University for the spring 2006 semester.

* Jessica Popp, Carson Bahn, Karrie Moll and Beth Schnurbusch, all of Cape Girardeau, Sarah Martin of Burfordville, Emily Huber of Jackson, Tiffany Amelunke of Chaffee, Mo., Nora Glasser of Kelso, Mo., and Whitney Schreckenberg of Whitewater have been chosen to attend the American Legion Auxiliary Girls State at Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg, Mo., from June 25 through July 1.
