Davis named to dean's list at Savannah college
Lindsey Davis, a 2001 graduate of Central High School, was named to the 2005 winter semester dean's list at The Savannah College of Art and Design.

Oak Ridge students donate to Make-A-Wish
Oak Ridge Elementary students recently raised $822.49 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation by bringing in change during Red Ribbon Week. A local Wal-Mart store matched the funds, bringing the total donation to $1,644.98.
Cape student receives CMSU scholarship
Rachel Roggow of Cape Girardeau has received the Board of Governors Scholarship to attend Central Missouri State University at Warrensburg. At senior at Notre Dame Regional High School, she is the daughter of Rodney and Karen Roggow of Cape Girardeau.
Maryville University publishes dean's list
Amber Branson, Megan Holloway, Candace London, Jennifer Schlick, Courtney Vickery and Jordan White, all of Cape Girardeau, Laura Weissmueller of Chaffee and Lee Essner of Scott City were named to the 2004 fall semester dean's list at Maryville University in St. Louis. To qualify, students had to carry at least 12 semester hours of classes, have a minimum of a B plus grade point average with no single grade below a B.
DeCoursey receives scholarshp to UMKC
Kenneth DeCoursey, a senior at Jackson High School, has been named a University of Missouri-Kansas City Trustee's Scholar. DeCoursey will receive a $55,000 four-year scholarship beginning in the fall 2005 semester. He is the son of Brenda Lee and Kenneth Allen DeCoursey and plans to major in music education.
Student convention to be held at Central
Central High School was recently selected to be host of the 2006 student council convention through a campaign at this year's convention in Kansas City. The convention will bring in some 1,200 people from all over the state next spring. Central was host of the convention in 1982, 1992 and 2002.
Three Rivers registration begins Wednesday
Early registration for summer and fall classes at Three Rivers Community College will begin at 8 a.m. Wednesday. Current students actually can start registration today. Early registration for summer classes will end on April 29.
Student receives Quincy University scholarship
J.P. Limbaugh II, son of Emily Limbaugh and James Limbaugh, both of Cape Girardeau, received the Henry Rump Scholarship at Quincy University in Quincy, Ill.
