Wade Cramer and Joshua Hopkins, both of Jackson, have been named to the dean's list for the 2004 fall semester at Culver-Stockton College in Canton, Mo. Cramer is the son of Tom and Denise Cramer of Jackson. Hopkins is the son of David and Theresa Hopkins of Jackson. Students on the dean's list have achieved a grade point average of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.
Patrick Jernigan, Jordan Cracraft, Brittney Farrow and Gregory Parkinson, all of Cape Girardeau, have been awarded President's scholarships to attend Southeast Missouri State University for the 2005-2006 academic year. Jernigan, Farrow and Parkinson are seniors at Central High School. Cracraft is a senior at Notre Dame Regional High School. Jernigan is the son of Jeff and Nancy Jernigan of Cape Girardeau. Farrow is the daughter of Wesley and Phyllis Farrow of Cape Girardeau. Parkinson is the son of Doug and Becky Parkinson of Cape Girardeau. Cracraft is the son of Kevin and Rita Cracraft of Cape Girardeau.
James Cochrane and Mesha Russell of Cape Girardeau were named to the fall 2004 semester dean's list at Union University in Jackson, Tenn.
Justin Lusk was named to the fall 2004 semester dean's list at St. Louis College of Pharmacy. Lusk is the son of Lonnie and Debbie Lusk of Cape Girardeau. He is a fourth-year student a the college and a 2001 graduate of Central High School.
Jenny Eakins of Jackson has received an academic scholarship to Southern Illinois University Carbondale for the fall 2005 semester. Eakins will graduate from Jackson this spring. She is the daughter of Roger and Donna Eakins.
Emily Sue Buerhle has been selected for Phi Eta Sigma, a national freshman scholastic honor society based on grade point average, and was named to the fall 2004 semester dean's list at Murray State University. Buerhle is the daughter of Tony and Donna Buerhle of Cape Girardeau. She is a 2004 graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School.
Two local students were named to honor rolls for the fall 2004 semester at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Okla. Karen Ivers of Cape Girardeau was named to the dean's honor roll, and Annette Horrell of Chaffee, Mo., earned a spot on the the president's honor roll.
