Freshman Eftink joins Pi Beta Phi at Ole Miss

Jan Eftink, a freshman at the University of Mississippi at Oxford, Miss., has been initiated into the Mississippi Beta Chapter of Pi Beta Phi. Eftink is a 2004 graduate of Oran High School. She is the daughter of John and Claret Eftink of Chaffee, Mo.

Webster U student studying in Netherlands

Erin Cook, a 2001 graduate of Delta High School, is currently participating in a study abroad program in Leiden, Netherlands. The program is through Webster University in St. Louis, where Cook is a student. She is the daughter of Ken and Diane Cook of Chaffee, Mo.

Delta High senior named student of the week

Sarah M. Cook, a senior at Delta High School, was recently chosen as a Star Student of the Week by the Bank of Advance. The award recognized students' achievement in academic, athletics and citizenship. Those students selected for the program may be selected for a scholarship at the end of the year. Cook is active in FBLA, FCCLA, team spirit, FTA, National Honor Society, junior American Red Cross, student council, softball and basketball. She is the daughter of Ken and Diane Cook.
