League of Women Voters to host candidate forum

The League of Women Voters of Southeast Missouri and local public radio station KRCU will host a forum Tuesday designed to give voters an opportunity to learn more about candidates in the 8th Congressional District and 147th State Representative District races.

Candidates in the 8th district race scheduled to appear are Dough Enyart, Constitution Party; Republican Jason Smith; Democrat Barbara Stocker; and Libertarian Rick Vandeven. For the 147th race, the candidates scheduled to appear are Democrat Gary Gaines; Republican Kathy Swan; and Libertarian Greg Tlapek.
