Cape Girardeau's annual leaf pick-up program is continuing on schedule.
City crews on leaf detail target a different section of the city each week.
Starting Monday, crews will work in the area north of William Street to the city limits and east from West End Boulevard to the Mississippi River.
Leaf collection began Nov. 9 and is scheduled to continue until Dec. 18, assuming weather doesn't hamper cleanup efforts.
Tim Gramling, the city's assistant public works director, said residents are asked to rake their leaves to the curb the weekend before pickup is scheduled in their neighborhood. Bagged leaves will not be picked up.
Residents should check notices sent in their water bills or public notices printed in the Southeast Missourian for collection dates in their neighborhoods.
Collected leaves will be converted to mulch at Arena Park. The mulch is available to city residents.
