Local state lawmakers and Lt. Gov. Peter Kinder will discuss the planned sale of Missouri Higher Education Loan Authority student loans on Friday at Southeast Missouri State University.
The panel discussion is scheduled for noon in Dempster Hall's Glenn Auditorium.
In addition to Kinder, scheduled panelists include Reps. Nathan Cooper, Scott Lipke, Billy Pat Wright and Peter Myers.
The discussion is expected to include the issue of whether some of the profit from the sale of student loans should go to help fund Southeast's River Campus arts school project.
Student government president Adam Hanna said students and others in attendance will have a chance to questions.
