Ruth Ann Dikerson of the Cape Girardeau County Sheriff's Department; special agent Dave Diveley of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives; Cpl. Mark Winder of the Missouri State Highway Patrol; and Patrolman Tim Miller of the Cape Girardeau Police Department were honored during the Evening Optimist Club's annual Respect for Law Enforcement banquet Thursday, May 8, at the Cape Girardeau VFW Hall. "A lot of good people," said the event chairman Leonard Hines referring to area law enforcement officers. "They all deserve it."
