The new 2005-2006 edition of the Missouri road map, featuring the Bill Emerson Memorial Bridge on its cover, will be unveiled at a ceremony today at Riverfront Park. In case of rain, the ceremony will be held at the Cape Girardeau Convention and Visitors Bureau, 100 Broadway. The map, available free of charge, charts highways and bridges as well as major rivers, lakes, state parks and forests. U.S. Rep. Jo Ann Emerson, Cape Girardeau Mayor Jay Knudtson and Missouri Department of Transportation district engineer Scott Meyer are scheduled to speak at the ceremony.
