The film, "The Last Temptation of Christ," will be shown Monday at 6:30 p.m. at the University Center on Southeast Missouri State's campus. The showing is sponsored by the Student Activities Council and Student Life Programs.
Following the film will be a discussion led by members of the Association of Campus Ministries and members of the faculty and staff of the university.
A controversial film, "The Last Temptation of Christ" portrays Jesus Christ as a confused laborer torn between secular desires and service to God. The purpose of the discussion is to present opposing views about the film. The audience will be encouraged to ask questions and express opinions.
There is no admission charge.
