JEFFERSON CITY -- The Missouri Conservation Commission approved the purchase of three tracts of land during its recent meeting here, including 7.76 acres in Cape Girardeau County as an urban wild acres natural history area; 65 acres in Andrew County, as addition to the Northwest Missouri Wetland Area and 40 acres in Vernon County as an addition to Osage Prairie.

The Commission also approved acceptance of 100 acres in Barton County and 271 acres in Macon and Randolph counties from the Farmers Home Administration inventory.
