LABOR DAY EVENT AT WAPPAPELLO

WAPPAPELLO -- The Corps of Engineers has scheduled activities for Labor Day weekend Aug. 30-Sept. 1.

Campground programs are planned at Redman Creek, Peoples Creek and Greenville amphitheaters; water safety programs at Redman Creed, Peoples Creek and Rockwood Point beaches; and a gatehouse tour is planned.

Although the beaches will be closed for the season on Sept. 30, other activities continue through the fall, including hiking, backpacking and equestrian trails.
