Kupchella was the last of five finalists to be interviewed by the school's search committee. He visited the campus Monday and Tuesday, said Donna Ullrich, a spokeswoman for the Michigan school.
The other finalists are Tony Atwater, associate vice president for academic affairs at the University of Toledo; Mark S. Auburn, interim dean of the College of Fine and Applied Arts and interim associate provost at the University of Akron; David L.
