KRCU Southeast Public Radio concluded its Spring membership campaign with $29,000 in listener contributions, which gives the public radio station a $3,000 gain over last fall's campaign.
"We had over $9,000 in pre-drive contributions and another $20,000 in pledges phoned in during the on-air campaign," S.D. Yana Davis, development director for the station.
Community volunteers joined the KRCU staff to solicit pledges from listeners. More than a dozen businesses also supported the fund-raising effort.
