KRCU, the region's public radio station, recently began broadcasting around the clock thanks to donations from listeners.
"Our listeners have been asking us to stay on the air later and later," said Greg Petrowich, the radio station's general manager.
"With the recent success of our fall membership drive, we decided to initiate a 24-hour broadcast day."
Pledges are still coming in from the campaign, which has generated more than $17,500.
KRCU now broadcasts classical music week nights from midnight until 6 a.m. On weekends, the classical music continues until 7 a.m.
