KIGHT ELECTED AS HEAD OF MISSOURI FAIR ASSOCIATION

CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Ben Kight, a member of the Southeast Missouri District Fair Association board of directors, was recently elected president of the Missouri Association of Fairs and Festivals.

Kight was among representatives from the SEMO Fair attending the 46th annual convention of the statewide organization. The convention was held in Columbia Jan. 25-26.

Other board members attending were Bob Nitsch, Glen Birk, Marilyn Schott, Patty Reisenbichler, Ed Kaiser, Charles Shultz, Leeman Gerecke, Gayle Hendrix and Junior Peetz.
