KIDS FEATURED IN SATURDAY FASHION SHOW

Local youngsters from throughout the region will be the "stars" of the Spirit Week fashion show to be held Saturday at West Park Mall's Center Court. The show will begin at 2 p.m.

According to professional fashion coordinator, Kathy Giles, the children and teens featured in the show were selected at open auditions held last month at the mall's center court stage.

Giles, who coordinates shows throughout the region for the Aries Company of St. Louis, says many of the youngsters chosen will make their official runway debut on Saturday.

More than 80 models and dancers will be featured in the event.

The Spirit Week fashion show will spotlight fall fashions for the back-to-school set, from kindergarten through college. The production will also feature the talents of students of the Royale Ballet & School of Performing Arts of Cape Girardeau, who will perform choreographed musical numbers in the show.
