Goddard, 80, died Sunday, Aug. 2, 1998, in Lucedale, Miss.
He was born Jan. 3, 1918, son of Charles Arthur and Coletta Pauline Pobot Goddard.
Goddard moved to Vancleve 25 years ago from Chaffee.
Survivors include a brother, Charles Goddard of Chaffee; a sister, Vera Speaks of Paso Robles, Calif.; and a friend, Barbara Packer of Vancleve.
