Kennett businessman Paul T. Combs, 29, has been named to the board of curators of the University of Missouri.
Combs, a certified public accountant, is vice president of Baker Implement Co. retail farm equipment complex.
He is an alumni of the university, having received a bachelor's degree in accounting in 1987.
"I'm really honored," Combs said. "I've stayed in touch with the university since graduating, and hope I can do a good job as curator."
Combs, a Republican, will succeed John Lichtenegger of Jackson.
