KENNETT, Mo. -- A Kennett man is charged with several felony counts, including second-degree murder, in connection with the 2012 death of Autumn Medley.
Glenn D. Morgan, 35, also is charged with two counts of distribution of a controlled substance and an alternative count of second-degree murder and felony murder.
Medley's body was discovered lying by a county road near Gibson, Missouri, in September 2012. An autopsy determined the cause of death was a drug overdose.
The charges say Morgan injected Medley with a mixture of methamphetamine and fentanyl, causing her death.
A warrant was issued for Morgan by Dunklin County Associate Court Judge John Spielman. No bond has been set. Morgan is incarcerated in the Missouri Department of Corrections on an unrelated matter.
