BENTON -- Melanie D. Urhahn of Benton has been selected as a Coca-Cola Semifinalists for 1991.

Urhahn, a senior at Kelly High School, is one of the 1,800 semifinalists selected from more than 60,000 applicants.

Semifinalists will complete additional materials which will be screened by the Coca-Cola Foundation's program review committee this month. Nationwide, 150 Coca-Cola scholars will be selected.

Urhahn is a active in Pep Club, SADD, Future Business Leaders of America, Future Farmers of America, Student Council, 4-H, and the science club.

She is president of the Beta Club and first vice president of Future Homemakers of America. Urhahn is a senior class officer and is involved in Project Graduation 1991.

She is the daughter of John and Diane Urhahn.
