Voters in the Kelly school district passed a bond issue Tuesday 225-114 to allow the construction of classrooms and high school kitchen facilities.

Another taxing issue in Scott County, a fire district tax, was turned down 151-91.

Voters rejected a countywide use tax 1,852-1,141.

Lori A. Whistler (152 votes) and Pete Dooley (132 votes) won two available seats on the Chaffee School Board.

In Scott City, incumbent Pat Brazel won against Everett Hink for the two-year term in Ward 2 with a vote of 63-24. Incumbent Randy Morse will keep his seat for Ward 4 as he defeated Norman Brant 68-56.

Gary Elders and Lisa Schaefer won the two available seats for the Scott County School Board.

Neal E. Seyer and James Watkins will serve on the Oran School Board.

Tim Wade will serve on the Scott County Rural Fire Board as he won against Jim Hovis, 166-62.

Doug Sikes and Calvin Brown will serve as aldermen in Morley, Mo. Respectively, they received 37 percent and 26 percent of the vote.

Scott County reported a voter turnout of about 12 percent.
