Juvenile arrested for damaging gravestones in Sikeston

SIKESTON, Mo. — A juvenile was arrested for allegedly kicking over tombstones in a Sikeston cemetery.

The Sikeston Department of Public Safety received a call about 3:07 p.m. Friday from an individual who'd observed a juvenile male and female walking in the Sikeston City Cemetery at West Murray Lane and South New Madrid Street, according to DPS incident reports. The caller saw the female kick over three grave stones, the report said. The juveniles were subsequently located, and the female was arrested for damaging city property.
