Cape Girardeau Central Junior High School music teacher Mike Dumey and his students will perform a program Saturday night to raise money for the school's 15th annual spring musical.
The program is called "Showstoppers Tonight" and will take place at the old Central Junior High School gymnasium. The benefit takes place every year, but this year the program will be in dinner theater form. Featured performers include former Dumey students now in high school and beyond and the junior high's 100-plus-voice stage choir, with 15 performances taking place.
This year's spring production is the Broadway musical version of "Beauty and the Beast."
Doors open at 6 p.m. with the show beginning at 7 p.m. For more information, call the junior high at 334-2923.
