A youth livestock judging contest will be one of the highlight events for youngsters during the New Trends in Agriculture program, scheduled July 17-18 at the Show Me Center on Southeast Missouri State University campus.

The contest is open to all youths, and will feature divisions for Youth, 4-H, and FFA, with individual and three-person teams.

Registration will be 8 a.m. July 17, with the contest to start at 9 a.m.

Three classes of cattle and hogs, and two classes of sheep will be judged.
