BOLINGBROOK, Ill. -- A judge will review evidence in the case of a missing suburban Chicago woman before deciding whether to return cars, guns and other items seized by investigators from her husband, former police officer Drew Peterson.

Will County Judge Richard Schoenstedt said at a Friday hearing that he expected to make a decision on the matter Feb. 1.

Investigators served several warrants in November at Peterson's Bolingbrook home, seizing computers, several guns, a GMC Yukon Denali, a Pontiac Grand Prix and other items as they looked into the disappearance of Stacy Peterson, who was 23 when she went missing in October.

Stacy Peterson, Drew Peterson's fourth wife, was reported missing Oct. 29. In November, police labeled her disappearance a possible homicide and named Drew Peterson a suspect.

Peterson has denied any wrongdoing and has said he believes his wife left him for another man and is alive.
