Jennifer Jones, an eighth grade cheerleader from Central Junior High, was selected for the National Chereleader Association's All-American Team.
The selection was the culmination of the four-day cheerleading camp conducted on the campus of Southeast Missouri State University this summer with 950 cheerleaders from Missouri and Illinois attending.
The team is eligible to perform in the 1991 Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade in New York, the Eagle Aloha Bowl Parade and halftime show in Hawaii and 1992 St. Patrick's Day parade, and Lord Mayor's Ball in Dublin, Ireland.
Jones was one of 11 chosen for the team from the camp of junior high school, junior varsity and varsity cheerleaders.
She is the daughter of Kenneth A. and Carol Jones, 710 Mt. Auburn Rd.
