JACKSON -- Peter L. Marsac has joined Rapco International, Inc. here as chief executive officer.
Marsac previously served as vice president and general manager of Atlas Soundolier, a supplier of cone and horn loudspeakers and cabinets for the commercial sound industry.
"We're delighted to have Marsac for our firm," said Ronald T. Lorenz, Rapco founder and president. "He strengthens our operations and overall senior management."
Lorenz, who founded the firm in 1982, said the company had obtained additional capital from its investor group to strengthen the balance sheet and support the company's new business initiatives.
"Our investors have committed over $1 million of new capital for the year," said Lorenz. "We have a shared vision of the opportunities available to Rapco in the music market and will be working to capitalize fully on them."
Rapco is the largest manufacturer of cables and audio snakes for the music industry in the U.S.
