JOINS HAIR SALON

CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Karen McElreath has joined Eugene's Hair Salon, located at the Crossroad Shopping Center here.

Eugene and Martha Parsons, owners of the salon, announced McElreath's appointment this week.

McElreath, a hair stylist for the past six years, is a graduate of Ferguson Beauty College in St. Louis.

She worked in beauty salons in the St. Louis area until about a year ago, when she moved to this area.

"My husband is from this area," said McElreath, who will be styling hair and doing pedicures at Eugene's.

McElreath and her husband, Stanley McElreath, are parents of two children, Tiffany, 7, and Michael, 3.
