JOINS CAPE FIRM

Robert M. Steinberg has been named vice president-Finance and Administration for Engles Communication, Inc., which owns KBSI-TV in Cape Girardeau.

Steven Engles, president of Engles Communications and general manager of KBSI-TV, announced Steinberg's appointment this week.

Steinberg had been executive vice president of the Broadcast Consulting Group, a nationwide consortium of management and financial advisers to the broadcasting industry, and previously was chief financial officer for Meredith Corporation's Broadcasting Group, headquartered in New York City.

He is a past president of the Broadcast/Cable Financial Management Association and served on the board of directors of the Broadcast Credit Association.

A native New Yorker, Steinberg received his accounting degree from New York University.
