International Order of Job's Daughters Bethel 51 of Cape Girardeau recently attended their annual grand session in Jefferson City.
In addition to election of officers, committee meetings and other activities, the group competed in ritualistic work, arts and crafts.
Metals and appointments were awarded to:
Sarah Griffin of Sikeston, silver in arts and crafts and silver as first messenger.
Veronica Vinyard of Benton, gold as third messenger and silver as fifth messenger.
Maria Ortiz of Cape Girardeau, silver as chaplain in championship division, silver as second messenger, silver in vocal competition, and was appointed grand representative to Nevada.
Amber Bertrand of Cape Girardeau, two bronze and a silver in arts and crafts, silver as fourth messenger, bronze as fifth messenger.
Rachel Bettag of Cape Girardeau, gold as third messenger, silver in arts and crafts, silver in essay contest.
Sarah Vinyard of Benton, silver as first and fifth messenger, and appointed grand representative to Utah.
Chris Beardslee of Benton, gold as fourth messenger in championship division, gold as chaplain, silver in arts and crafts, and elected grand bethel treasurer.
Job's Daughters is an organization based on the book of Job and is open to girls ages 11-20 who have a Masonic relationship in their families.
Meetings are held the first and third Saturdays each month at 10 a.m. at the Masonic Temple.
