JEWELL M. CAPPS

Bloomfield -- Jewell M. Capps, 64, of Florissant, formerly of Bloomfield, died at her home Thursday, Oct. 7, 1993.

She was born at Bloomfield on May 14, 1929, the daughter of James Ralph and Madge Mae Lincoln McFerron.

She was married to Oscar Eldon Capps. he preceded her in death Oct. 5, 1978. She was a retired bookkeeper.

Survivors include one son, Michael Eldon Capps, Kenosha, Wis.; one daughter, Linda Spirk, Richland, Mo.; one brother, Kenneth McFerron, Brownsburg, Ind.; three sisters, Gerri Whitledge, Bloomfield, Irene Wilkinson, St. Louis, and Lois Carrier, Dexter; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Friends may call at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield after 2 p.m. Sunday. Funeral service will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Norman Garrett officiating.

Burial will follow in the North Antioch Cemetery near Bloomfield.
