TAMMS, Ill. -- James Logan Hopkins, 73, of Jackson, Mo. and formerly of Olive Branch, Ill. died Thursday, March 25, 1993, at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape GIrardeau.
He was born March 11, 1920, at Thebes, the son of Roy and Vesta Benefield Hopkins. He was a retired from the Florsheim Shoe factory in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include a son, Fred Hopkins of McClure; three daughters, Grace Harpole of Olive Branch, and Lois Kiehne and Brenda Hopkins, both of Jackson; three brothers, Glen and Frank Hopkins, both of Brighton, and Paul Hopkins of the Virgin Islands; two sisters, Winifred Wedbufh of Ste. Genevieve and Cecile Willis of Cache; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He also was preceded in death by two brothers.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. Saturday at the Jones Funeral Home in Tamms. Graveside service will be Sunday at the Olive Branch Cemetery.
