The Missouri Senate on Wednesday confirmed James P. "Jim" Limbaugh as the newest member of the Southeast Missouri State University Board of Regents.

Limbaugh, 52, of Cape Girardeau, is regional president of Montgomery Bank. He holds a bachelor's degree in business administration and a master's degree in teaching from Southeast.

Limbaugh is a member of the Southeast Missouri State University Foundation and a member of the executive committee of the Booster Club.

Limbaugh was nominated to the board to replace John Tlapek of Cape Girardeau. He was confirmed unanimously by the Senate.
