Volunteers will continue their search for Jacque Waller on Saturday and are asking those interested in assisting in the search to show up at 8 a.m. at Cape County Cowboy Church, 2020 Orchid Lane in Oak Ridge.
Organizers said in a news release that they are hoping this will be the largest search yet. A water search will be organized once water levels recede, said family spokeswoman Laura Long Helbig. The volunteers will be searching areas that haven't been searched yet or areas organizers think should be covered again, she said in the release. Volunteers should be prepared to walk through rough terrain and should dress in jeans, sturdy boots and brightly colored shirts for visibility. Local businesses have donated water, Gatorade and snacks, but people should bring their own food and beverages as well.
