Patricia Moore, 33, of Jackson was driving alone in her car west on Highway 177 2.5 miles east of Fruitland at about 9:30 when the car went off the right side of the road, overcorrected, came across the left side, went down an embankment and overturned, according to the Missouri Highway Patrol.
She wasn't wearing a seat belt and was partially thrown from the car. An Air-Evac helicopter took her to Southeast Missouri Hospital where she was pronounced dead at about 10:30.
