A Jackson woman was arrested Wednesday after law enforcement agencies served a search warrant at her home, where they discovered an indoor marijuana growing operation.
The Jackson Police Department and the Southeast Missouri Drug Task Force served the warrant in the 400 block of Kies Avenue. The woman's name was not being released because charges were still pending.
According to a news release from Jackson police, authorities found marijuana plants in various stages of development. Drug paraphernalia was also found in the residence.
