Despite the snow storm, trash collection remains on schedule in Jackson, according to a news release from the city.

"No significant changes in the residential trash collection routes are anticipated today and tomorrow," the city's public works department said in a news release.

The city is running two trash trucks, instead of the usual one, to allow collection crews to take more time driving on the snowy streets. For more information contact the city's public works department at 243-2300 or the sanitation department at 243-2333.
