Brandy A. Hoffman of Jackson has been awarded a Regents' Scholarship and the Missouri Higher Education Scholarship to attend Southeast Missouri State University during the 1992-93 academic year.
The Regents' Scholarship is awarded to high school seniors who graduate in the top 10 percent of their class and who score above the 90th percentile on the ACT or SAT test. The award covers full-time fees per semester and is renewable for four years.
The Missouri Higher Education Scholarship is awarded to high school seniors who enroll full time at a Missouri college or university and who score in the top 3 percentile on the ACT or SAT test. The award is worth $2,000 and is renewable.
Hoffman is the daughter of Vonda Hoffman-Glodo and the late Dallas Glodo of Jackson. She graduated this spring from Jackson High School. Hoffman plans to major in pre-medicine at Southeast.
