JACKSON -- Lisa Renee Nussbaum, daughter of Robert and Marilyn Nussbaum of Jackson, has been awarded a $300 undergraduate scholarship from Alpha Delta Pi Foundation, Inc.

She is a student at Murray State University, majoring in broadcast journalism. Nussbaum is a member of various journalism honor societies including Alpha Epsilon Rho and Kappa Tau Alpha. She has gained hands on experience as a new anchor, reporter and writer for the campus television station. She has served as membership education vice president of the Epsilon Omicron chapter of Alpha Delta Pi.

She was selected for the award from a nationwide group of applicants. The scholarship recognizes Nussbaum's academic distinction, exemplary career goals and service to the community and sorority.
