The Jackson School Foundation will dedicate the district's Trail of Honor at the high school today at 1 p.m. The trail's first brick is in honor of Marybeth Williams, who served on the foundation's original board of directors and was the secretary for six years. A 1970 graduate of Jackson, she was also the executive director of the Jackson Chamber of Commerce until her death in 2008. The trail is a campaign to raise funds for the foundation, which primarily awards grants to teachers. It connects the high school gym and the new events center. For information on how to purchase an engraved brick, contact Wade Bartels or Bonnie Stahlman at the Jackson school district offices at 243-9501.
